Your treatment may be finished, but thoughtful aftercare still matters. Here’s how to support your body and skin afterwards:

Do:

Stay comfortably hydrated – Drink as you normally would and have some water after your treatment if you feel thirsty.

Take it easy if you need to – Some people feel deeply relaxed or a little tired after a treatment. Give yourself time to settle before rushing back into a busy day.

Eat normally and regularly – A light, balanced meal or snack can be helpful if you have not eaten for several hours.

Avoid:

Driving or operating machinery if you feel dizzy or unusually tired – Wait until you feel fully alert and steady.

Alcohol if you are feeling light-headed, dehydrated or unwell – Give yourself time to settle and re-hydrate first.

Strenuous activity if your body feels tired or tender – Choose a gentler pace for the rest of the day if needed.

You Might Notice:

Mild tenderness after firmer bodywork – Some areas may feel slightly tender afterwards, particularly if deeper pressure or more focused techniques were used. This should gradually settle.

Temporary warmth or sensitivity – Depending on the treatment, your skin or treated area may feel warmer, softer or slightly more sensitive for a short time.

Listen to anything that feels unusual – Significant pain, increasing discomfort, or symptoms that do not settle should not simply be assumed to be a normal treatment response. Let me know before your next session and seek medical advice if needed.
