Print Edition — Pre-order Terms & Conditions

These terms apply only to pre-orders placed directly with Amber Sea Holistics for the physical Print Edition of Simple Guide into the World of Oils.

2. The Print Edition

The physical edition of Simple Guide into the World of Oils is a full-colour A4 Wire-O reference book, designed to lie open comfortably for practical use.

The Print Edition is produced in limited print batches.

3. Price and pre-order deposit

The total price of the Print Edition is €45.99 including applicable VAT.

A pre-order deposit of €23.00 is paid when the pre-order is placed. The remaining €22.99 becomes payable when the customer's copy is ready for dispatch or collection.

Shipping is not included in the €45.99 book price and is charged separately where applicable.

4. Production and delivery

The Print Edition is produced in limited batches. After placing a pre-order, the customer will be informed when the next print batch is confirmed and before their copy enters production.

If the next print batch cannot be confirmed within 8 weeks of the date the pre-order is placed, the customer may choose either a full refund of the deposit or to keep the pre-order for a later print batch.

Delivery is available within the European Union. Shipping costs depend on the destination and will be clearly communicated before the remaining balance is paid and the book is dispatched.

Collection in the Netherlands may also be arranged.

For delivery outside the European Union, please contact Amber Sea Holistics before placing a pre-order. Available shipping options and costs will be discussed individually.

5. Cancellation before delivery

A customer who wishes to cancel a pre-order before delivery should contact Amber Sea Holistics as soon as possible.

If the Print Edition has not yet entered production, the €23.00 pre-order deposit will be refunded.

If cancellation is requested after the copy has entered production, Amber Sea Holistics will inform the customer of the available options. This does not affect any statutory consumer rights that apply to the purchase.

6. Right of withdrawal after delivery

Consumers purchasing the Print Edition online have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days after receiving the book, without giving a reason.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform Amber Sea Holistics clearly of the decision to withdraw within the applicable withdrawal period.

Amber Sea Holistics will provide the necessary return instructions.

7. Returns

When a customer exercises the right of withdrawal simply because they have changed their mind, the direct cost of returning the book is borne by the customer.

The book should be packaged appropriately for its return journey.

During the withdrawal period, the customer may handle the book only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

The customer is responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for this purpose. If a returned book is damaged, soiled or otherwise diminished in value as a result of such handling, Amber Sea Holistics may deduct the resulting loss in value from the refund.

8. Damaged, defective or incorrect books

Amber Sea Holistics is responsible for ensuring that the Print Edition reaches the customer in the condition that may reasonably be expected.

If a book arrives damaged, defective, or is not the edition ordered, please contact Amber Sea Holistics as soon as reasonably possible so that an appropriate solution can be arranged.

Customers are encouraged to provide photographs of damage to the book and/or packaging where this can help establish what occurred during delivery.
